NOTHING LESS THAN THE BEST
You have something great, but let's face facts - presenting it to the world can be daunting. There is so much vying for the attention of your potential clients - but now you won't need to worry about that.
From layout to content, everything will be built to perfection. Responsive design. Screen reader friendliness. Search engine optimization. Some of the many features you can count on being part of your website.
Publishing your website is only half the journey - the other is keeping your content fresh and engaging while ensuring that clients find everything they are looking for. But you won't have to worry about that, either.
SEEING IS BELIEVING
These clients are over the moon with their websites. So will you.
STEVEN SICO ESQ.
This was requested by a lawyer looking to completely overhaul their website. The challenge was creating a page that would give the lawyer's clients all of the information they would need yet wouldn't overwhelm them with walls of text or legal jargon. Clients looking for lawyers typically are in a bind, so the website needed to be reassuring without definitively promising anything. Everything about the website was carefully chosen to exude confidence, be reassuring, and display key information such as awards and contact info up front. The result was a striking and responsive website that smoothly works on computers, tablets, and mobile devices.
THE SHAI PROGRAM
The SHAI Program (WORK IN PROGRESS) is a youth program for inner city boys. It needs to give off a youthful, energetic vibe that would get kids excited for the program while assuring parents that this is a safe and productive program. This calls for something athletic and assertive, with large and eye-catching images depicting the various activities. Italicized, bold text and upper-case fonts were used for call-to-actions and headings while thin and professional looking type was used for anything referencing the Program proper. This would in turn appeal to the parents looking to enroll their children in a program that is not only a healthy environment but also relevant to young boys.
This was a project for Codecademy. They required a website built to match precise specifications based on a .png file containing a full mock up (which can be seen here) of the site. The goal was to match the site as best as possible to the spec, while being efficient and using specific code to demonstrate what we had learned up to that point. It demonstrates how well we were able to follow the specifications set by another, such as a client or senior developer who is controlling the design aspect of a project. It also encouraged us find solutions to problems, as we couldn't simply declare that it was "close enough" and move on.
